Our Approach

Capital with a plan attached.

Each Fortpark Group investment begins with an agreed five-year ambition and a costed route towards it. Our role is to supply the equity and the hands-on support that make that route realistic.

Investment Thesis

Many mid-market companies in the UK and DACH region hold strong positions at home and then reach a ceiling set by capital or management depth. We back businesses that have already proved demand and help them turn a strong domestic position into a regional or international one.

How We Work

  1. Before completion

We agree on the value creation plan with management before signing, so the first board meeting can focus on execution. Deal structure then follows that plan, covering the equity split, management incentives, vendor reinvestment and debt terms.

  2. The first hundred days

A partner and an operating specialist work alongside management on early priorities such as reporting, senior hiring, pricing and cash management.

  3. Growth

Most of the value we create comes from growth: new regions, new products, add-on acquisitions and stronger sales teams. We hold board seats and open our network of industry advisers to every portfolio company.

  4. Exit planning

Fortpark Group prepares for exit from year one, keeping data rooms current and governance at the standard a buyer will expect. Owners can then choose among a trade sale, a secondary buyout, a partial sale to a new investor or a refinancing that returns capital.
